Galaxy® S9 Features Revealed
Fans of refurbished Samsung® phones have been excitedly talking about the upcoming release of the Galaxy S9, which is slated for release on March 16th. It also has many wondering how its features will compare to previous Samsung Galaxy phones, the iPhone® 8, and iPhone X. For those who love refurbished Samsung phones, they’re also wondering how the Samsung S9 might compare to the used Galaxy S8 and used Galaxy S7.
So, let’s put some of those rumors to rest. This list outlines many of the features of the Galaxy S9.
Galaxy S9 Appearance
Of course, renderings have been released at this point, and this device will be similar in appearance to past refurbished Samsung phones, like the used Galaxy S8. It will look like the refurbished Samsung Galaxy S8, with the infinity display and Bixby button. And this isn’t a bad thing—the Samsung Galaxy S8 was largely appreciated and enjoyed by new and refurbished Samsung phones fans. The Samsung Galaxy S8 had also been a deviation from past Samsung phones, so it’s not a surprise that there aren’t big plans to change this new model too much. These refurbished Samsung phones will see a change in a potential dual lens rear camera on the Plus models. There were also rumors that this Samsung phone may go the way of the iPhone X and get rid of the headphone jack, but that ended up not being the case.
Galaxy S9 Camera
The biggest talking point of these newer models will be the cameras, which will differ from past refurbished Samsung phones, such as the used Galaxy S8. Compared to the refurbished Samsung Galaxy S8 and other models of past refurbished Samsung phones, the company has “reimagined” the S9 camera. It’s been revealed that the rear cameras will be dual-pixel 12-megapixel lens; the front cameras will have an 8-megapixel lens, have optical image stabilization, and will be able to do slow motion video like its predecessor. Impressively, the cameras have received top ratings from smartphone experts around the industry.
Galaxy S9 Software
Compared to the used Galaxy S8 and other past refurbished Samsung phones, the S9 might release something exciting, like a new social network or location-based services. This is taking it outside of the realm of what has been seen with refurbished Samsung Galaxy S8 or the refurbished Samsung Galaxy S7. The social network name circulating is "Uhssup."
Galaxy S9 Specifications
There are additional features and specs that have been revealed about this model, which differ greatly from the previous models of refurbished Samsung phones and particularly other types of refurbished Samsung Galaxy phones. The S9 will have the Snapdragon 845 processor, changing up its CPU from previous refurbished Samsung Galaxy devices. It will also offer more RAM and storage and better battery capacity compared to other refurbished Samsung phones. It will have 4GB of RAM space, and have 5.8 inches of display, and 64GB of storage space.
